Spend a hands-on evening learning about sourdough, enjoying a bread-based snacks (vegan options available) and making your own dough to bake at home the next morning.
Rebecca learnt to bake sourdough at the legendary E5 Bakehouse in Hackney and has been regularly baking loaves at home for the last 10 years. In this class, you'll hear about the essential components of sourdough, how to fit in the process around family life and successfully baking sourdough in a 'normal' domestic oven. You'll leave with a loaf to bake at home, a jar of starter for your next attempt, a proving basket and dough scraper, plus a recipe booklet and all the skills you need to become star baker.
Suitable for beginners, no experience or special equipment required.
Only 6 spaces available per class. Tickets £69 per person.
