About the event
Spend an evening learning about sourdough, enjoying a light meal around our signature loaf (vegan options available) and making your own dough to bake at home the next morning.
Rebecca learnt to bake sourdough at the legendary E5 Bakehouse in Hackney and has been regularly baking loaves at home for the last 10 years. In this class, you'll hear about the essential components of sourdough, how to fit in the process around family life and successfully baking sourdough in a 'normal' domestic oven. You'll leave with a loaf to bake at home, a jar of starter for your next attempt, detailed instructions and all the skills you need to become star baker.
Suitable for beginners, no experience or special equipment required. If you have a proving basket or banneton (any shape), do bring that with you or they will be available to purchase on the evening.

For one adult: includes a light meal of bread and accompaniments (vegan options available) all ingredients and equipment except a banneton/proving basket (available to purchase) and you'll take home a loaf to bake at home and a jar of starter.
